Speaking of the biggest tourist spot near Yogyakarta, it’s Borobudur, right?
Actually, Borobudur is not in the Yogyakarta province, but in the Magelang regency of Central Java province.
Therefore, it’s about 30km away from Yogyakarta’s airport and city center, so it takes about 1.5 to 2 hours by car or bus.
