Bakmi Jawa Mbah Gito is a very famous shop among locals and tourists alike.
The three most popular menu items are:
- bakmi goreng (fried noodles)
- bakmi godog (noodle soup)
- magelangan (something like fried noodles and rice)


This shop has been in business since 2008.
The Bakmi Jawa at Bakmi Jawa Mbah Gito is characterized by its rich and savory sauce, generous amounts of shredded chicken, egg, and the aroma of Bawang Merah.
Menu
The various menu items at Bakmi Jawa Mbah Gito are priced around 20,000 to 35,000 IDR.
Especially recommended for Japanese people is the Bakmi Godog, which has a deliciousness similar to champon.
The drinks are also unique. For example, Poci is a tea served in a pot, and it comes with a large Gula Batu, one of Java’s famous products.
Distinctive Javanese Cultural Interior
Another feature of this shop is the building itself and its unique interior.


The entrance, in particular, displays many monuments, making it a great spot for taking photos.


Wayang, a UNESCO World Heritage, is also used in the interior.
Everywhere inside, there are Javanese words written in Javanese script.
