What are the reviews like on social media and online?

A restaurant where you can get Japanese izakaya menu items. It’s great that they also serve raw items like seared mackerel and squid natto. The proprietress can speak a little Japanese.

A ramen shop that’s open late, which is great. It’s a classic move to go there after a night out in Blok M. This time I ordered a large bottle of Bintang and the chilled tantanmen C set (half fried rice + 3 gyoza). The chilled tantanmen is pretty good. The thin curly noodles are coated in a cold, creamy tantan soup, and with the crunchy bean sprouts, tomatoes, etc., it’s refreshing and easy to eat. But be warned, it’s quite spicy. The fried rice is similar to what you’d call gomoku chahan in Japan. The taste is not bad. I like this place, including its cozy atmosphere!

Although it’s a ramen shop, it has the atmosphere of an izakaya. I was torn between the rich tonkotsu ramen and the regular tonkotsu ramen, and ended up ordering the regular one (without egg). The soup had a nostalgic taste, like the kind of tonkotsu ramen you’d eat as a nightcap. As for Indonesian tonkotsu ramen, I’d rate it upper-mid to lower-high. The gyoza looked a bit unappealing but were actually quite delicious.
